What is the difference between a quote and an invoice?

On Zenva Schools, we can send both a quote and/or an invoice related to your Zenva Schools account.

A quote is simply a formal estimate of the cost (based on our pricing information on this page). You may wish to request a quote in situations where you need to convey the cost to other colleagues. This may be especially relevant in cases where your school has a formalized ordering process that needs approval from several people before an order can be placed. Note that a quote DOES NOT initiate the purchase process on our end - so any trials will end according to their original date.

An invoice is the official document we send once you confirm you wish to make a purchase. The invoice will contain all relevant information regarding price, as well as instructions for how to render payment. We can send the invoice to any party required to process the payment.
